Offering to phone her minister, encouraging her to see that perhaps God wishes her to have the help of this hospital's resources.

The "Patient Diversity: Beyond the Vital Signs" video is a strong introduction to the topic of cultural and religious diversity among patients. I especially appreciate how the film stresses that as caregivers, we need to approach patients through their own belief systems.
