There's no doubt about it. Good customer service is as simple as common courtesy. But common courtesy can be hard to find these days.

Nothing illustrates this more effectively than Remember Me?, one of the best customer service training videos on the market. Updated for 2000, this 3rd edition Remember Me? training video continues to instill a timely and timeless message: treat the customer as an individual and you will be rewarded with loyal patronage for years.

A hapless, harried customer. That's who you'll meet in Remember Me: A customer just like you who turns to businesses like yours and receives less than ideal service (to put it mildly). Here's a customer who has been doing business in the same places for years and yet is treated like a stranger - and worse. A customer who is about to be fed up and take his business elsewhere - and share his negative experiences with friends and associates. Because not all customers complain. Some simply take their business elsewhere.

The service message in this film is simple. Organizations quietly lose customers because of poor service. Many dissatisfied customers don't say much. They don't complain. They just don't come back. This film shows service through the eyes of an average, everyday kind-of customer. It's a wake up call for any company that believes their service is satisfactory because nobody is complaining.

    PROS
  • Average customer shows value of good service.
  • Shows how easily customers quietly choose to go elsewhere.
    CONS
  • A bit dated.
  • Slow pace.

This program was awesome. It was simple yet compact. I found the tone to be quite smooth. The video held my attention with the built in humor. Terrific, wonderful and worth the watch.

An excellent video; short, simple, to the point and completely believable. No foolishness, no gimmicks, just a simple, every-day guy on the road with his frustrations. Great in pointing out the need for all customer service representatives to make sure that customers don't leave silently. I think more people will relate to this, because most people are not complainers, they're just not returners! That's me, for sure, and the message rang true! I am sure that when I show this video it will be warmly received.

It was simple and to the point. Very entertaining and realistic. Every scene depicted was real life. I'm sure each one of us has been caught in every one of those situations.
