Synopsis

Carol is concerned about excessive use of Facebook and Twitter at work, and initiates a social media policy, which Serena has observed is missing. Sam presents the new social media policy for the office, and they discuss inappropriate use.  At the same time Michael’s personal use of a dating app in the meeting triggers an embarrassing argument.

Carol and Marcus discuss with Casey her excessive use of social media in the workplace. After Marcus tells Carol he found Tammy on Facebook, Carol suggests they develop a workplace social media policy. Serena then arrives and tells Marcus he must develop and implement a social media policy immediately. Sam presents the proposed social media policy for the office, with an emphasis on the distinction between personal and professional social media usage. Marcus emphasizes the importance of professionalism in the use of social media and the team in turn expresses their differing views. There are clearly contrasting views within the team as to the use of personal social media in the workplace and Serena and Marcus agree to discuss it further at a later time.
